Join us on a gentle 2 mile hike through lush greenery at Tryon Creek. This hike will feature time for both self-reflection and community connection. You will be invited to take up space outside, feel exactly how you feel, and move with peace. There will be an optional meditation and breathing exercise to ground the group, introductions, and gratitude before heading into the towering firs. Like every Your Nature Network event, we celebrate our diversity. Members from BIPOC and Queer communities are encouraged to attend. To save your spot, register below.
This hike has minimal elevation and the group will move at a pace that supports every participant. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed athletic shoes. Hikers should bring water, snacks, and whatever else they need to feel comfortable. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
We will meet outside the Nature Center, near the parking lot, at 2:45 PM. We will begin the hike around 3 PM.
Tryon Park can be accessed by Trimet bus #35. For more information about the park, go here.
